What is an escape room adventure?
An escape room adventure is a group activity in which you and your team are "trapped" in a themed game room. The task is to discover clues, solve puzzles and open locks. Finally, you reach a final puzzle, the solution of which leads to winning the game and leaving the room! Your team has 60 minutes to master the challenges.
What experiences does escapium offer?
escapium offers various third-generation escape room adventures. You can find out which rooms are already playable in our overview. Our rooms are equipped with many sensors, NFC, RFID chips and magnets that react to a wide variety of things. In our high-tech rooms, participants solve exciting riddles, puzzles and tasks and experience an unforgettable, interactive adventure.
How can I book?
You can book conveniently at www.escapium.de. Simply click on the "Book" button and select your desired topic, date and number of participants.
What payment options are available at escapium?
On our website you can pay conveniently by PayPal or credit card. Payment for the escape room is always due upon booking. You can pay for drinks, snacks and additional persons on site by EC card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash payment is not possible.

Is there a recommended minimum age?
Our escape room adventures are suitable for different age groups. From the age of ten, our guests can really guess for themselves. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied in the escape room by an adult.
However, there are also some rooms that are only suitable for ages 16 or 18.
Unfortunately, I cannot keep my booked appointment. Can I cancel or rebook it?
Tut uns leid zu hören, dass Du den Termin nicht wahrnehmen kannst. Wenn Du uns bis spätestens 48 Stunden vor deinem Termin Bescheid gibst, können wir dich kostenfrei auf einen (verfügbaren) Ersatztermin in der Zukunft umbuchen. Erfolgt die Umbuchung weniger als 48 Stunden vor deinem ursprünglichen Termin, verfallen 50% der Zahlung. Solltest Du das FlexTicket gebucht haben, ist eine Verschiebung bis 12 Stunden vor dem Termin möglich. Stornierungen/Erstattungen sind – wie in unseren AGB beschrieben – leider nicht möglich. Auch wer zu seinem Termin nicht erscheint, hat kein Recht auf Erstattung oder Umbuchung.
I am late for my booked appointment, can my Escape Room experience start later?
If the booked room is still available after the original booking time, this is not a problem.
If a booking is made immediately afterwards, a later start of the booked room is unfortunately not possible. Therefore, please allow enough time for your arrival so that nothing stands in the way of your experience at escapium.
Can I also buy vouchers at escapium?
You are welcome to buy vouchers on our website.
You decide the value of the voucher yourself. You can choose between a print-at-home voucher or a high-quality gift voucher. Please note that the vouchers can only be redeemed for Escape Room adventures and not for drinks or snacks. If a residual value remains on the voucher, this cannot be paid out.
How many people can play an escape room at the same time?
Die Teilnehmerzahl variiert je nach Raum. Während die meisten Räume eine maximale Teilnehmerzahl von acht Spielern haben, gibt es auch Räume welche nur mit maximal vier oder sechs Teilnehmern gespielt werden können. Solltet ihr mit mehr als acht Personen spielen wollen, müsstet ihr euch auf zwei oder mehr Räume verteilen. Auch bei einer Gruppengröße von 9 Personen kann KEINE Ausnahme gemacht werden!
I have booked a room for x people, but would now like to bring more players. Is that possible?
Yes, that is possible. For example, if you have booked a room for four people but then turn up with five people, you can easily pay an additional €16 for an extra player on site. However, the maximum number of eight players per room cannot be exceeded. Please note that there are also rooms that can be played with a maximum of 4 people. If you have any questions, please contact our team.
If you arrive with fewer people than booked, we will unfortunately not be able to refund the difference.

  1. It is not permitted to bring your own items (cell phones, bags, cameras, etc.) into our escape rooms. We will ask you to store these items in one of our free lockers. Escapium accepts no liability for the wardrobe or contents of the lockers
  2. Visibly intoxicated persons may be denied access to our premises. Our employees exercise domiciliary rights
  3. Participation in our games is at your own risk and responsibility. escapium accepts no liability for injuries or damage resulting from negligence on the part of visitors or from failure to follow the instructions of our staff
  4. Children under the age of 14 are only permitted to enter our escape rooms if accompanied by an adult
  5. We use light and sound effects in many of our rooms. This can have a frightening effect, especially on children
  6. Persons with cardiovascular diseases, claustrophobia or similar illnesses are advised to contact us before the game
  7. Our rooms are under camera surveillance for your safety
  8. Real wood, real metal and real glass are used in our escape rooms. Please take care not to injure yourself. There is also the possibility that items of clothing may become dirty. escapium accepts no liability in this case.
  9. Our escape rooms are always unlocked and can be left at any time. However, leaving the room ends the game for the person leaving the room
  10. Willful destruction of our facilities will not be tolerated. Our staff is therefore entitled to expel the perpetrators from the premises without reimbursement of costs. In addition, escapium reserves the right to assert claims for damages
  11. Users undertake not to share any game elements of escapium, including tasks, layout, puzzles, furnishings, game sequence and structure, with third parties or to use them for their own or third parties' commercial purposes. The taking of photos or videos on our premises is only permitted with our written consent
  12. If these instructions are not accepted, participation in the game will be refused
